Missions Development:
“No one person (or church) can do everything, but everyone can do something.” From Max Lucado’s Outlive Your Life. As you look ahead toward what your church can do, here are two opportunities to work together to make a difference in our community. Every TBC church is encouraged to host a special event in March or April as part of the “GPS:Reaching Across Tennessee” campaign. Resources are available at www.tnbaptist.org or at the Stone Association Office. One example of a GPS event is the Baxter Community Egg Hunt on April 6th at Upperman High School.
A second way our churches can grow together is the “More Life” evangelism rally at FBC, Sparta, on April. 23. This rally will introduce a new outreach tool developed for Tennessee Baptist churches. This night will be a great opportunity to excite your teachers and leaders to work together to reach our neighbors.
